The March issue of Kent Business saw them publish their ‘Top 30 Under 30‘ list, highlighting the county’s best young business minds.
The KM Group, sponsored by Whitehead Monckton, asked for suggestions from the public, and used an independent judging panel, featuring key figures from successful Kent based businesses, to create the guide – aimed at recognising the county’s most exciting young entrepreneurs, the top 30 under 30.
This year the judges were: Paul Barron, Director at Kent Foundation, Jane Ollis, Managing director at RIFT Accounting, Stephen Rogers, Managing director at Swanstaff Recruitment and Luke Quilter, Managing director at Sleeping Giant Media.
Each candidate was judged based not only on their achievements to date, but also their influence and potential to grow and change the course of the economy in the future, both locally in Kent and on a National scale.
The 30 Under 30 list featured a huge variety of industries, from construction to health and beauty, and manufacturing to digital marketing.
In order to qualify, candidates needed to live in Kent or work for a company based in the county, and crucially, be under 30 years of age. Although the list features a large number of business owners, this was not a prerequisite, and entries were welcome for any ‘outstanding young person’.
Somewhat to our surprise, we were lucky enough to be featured on the list. Placing our MD Anthony Bliss at a respectable number 18, the article highlighted our current work, as well as previous projects. Unfortunately, due to our Creative Director Chris Mead turning 30 just the month before the article was published, he was unable to be included officially, however, he was still mentioned.
It’s always great to get recognition for the work we do, and we are proud to have been selected alongside so many other successful local businesses. Well done to everyone who made it onto the list.
