How do I install my email signature on Office365 or Outlook.com?

It is just a few simple steps to add your HTML email signature to Outlook.com or your Office 365 email account.

  1. Open Outlook.com or Office 365 and sign in.
  2. In the top right of the screen, click the 'Cog' icon, and then 'Options' at the bottom of the list.
  3. In the left hand pane, scroll down to Layout > Email signature (or click here to go straight to it: https://outlook.live.com/owa/?path=/options/mailsignatures).
  4. Select all of the preview of your signature in Hancock and then copy.
  5. Paste your new signature into the edit box on Outlook.com.
  6. Press 'Save; to save your new signature and to use it on your outgoing emails.

How do I install my email signature on Outlook 2003 - 2016?

Create a blank email signature in Outlook

  1. In Outlook go to Tools / Options / Mail Format.
  2. Click the Signatures button.
  3. Click the New button.
  4. Give your signature a name like ’signature′
  5. Click on OK
  6. Leave the signature blank and click OK then close outlook

Locate your signature folder using one of these 2 options

(A) In your outlook options, ctrl+click the signature button, that should open the folder where your signatures are located.

(B) Copy one of the following lines depending on what your operating system is.
Vista, 7: %userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Signatures
XP-2003: %userprofile%\Application Data\Microsoft\Signatures
Click on Start and then Run – paste the line you copied into the Run box and hit Enter

Replace the signature.htm file in that folder with the one you previously downloaded.

You should see 3 files created for your sig1 file (in .htm, .txt and .rtf formats). If you can’t see the file extensions, go to Tools / Folder Options / View and untick ‘Hide extensions for known file types’, or right-click the file and select ‘Properties’ to determine the file type. Replace the .htm file created by Outlook:

How do I install my email signature on Outlook for Mac?

Please note that you should avoid using Safari when copying your email signature, in some cases, it causes layout errors in your email signature. Please use Google Chrome or Firefox.

  1. Select the email signature using your cursor and copy it to your clipboard.
  2. Open Outlook and go to your preferences.
  3. Select signatures then the + button.
  4. Paste your signature in the text field.
  5. Close this window and your email signature should be working.

For some versions of Outlook 2016, you may see a clipboard icon after you paste the signature. Click on the icon and choose "Keep source formatting".

How do I install my email signature on 1&1?

To use your signature with a 1and1 email account you must use a desktop email client. 1and1's webmail client does not support html signatures at this time. We recommend using your 1and1 email account with one of the following email clients: Thunderbird, Apple Mail, Outlook or Gmail.

How do I install my email signature on Roundcube?

  1. Copy the source code to your clipboard.
  2. Go to Roundcube and select Settings, then Identities.
  3. Select the email account you are adding your signature to.
  4. Click on the HTML Signature checkbox.
  5. Click on the source code icon in the toolbar.
  6. Paste your signature and click OK.
  7. Save your signature.

Remember to change the editor type to HTML.

  3. Switch to Zoho Mail, and click the 'Settings' icon.

  5. Select 'Insert HTML', and paste the code from your clipboard. Click OK.
  6. Associate your signaure with an email address.
  7. Don't forget to add a name to your signature, and 'Save'.

How do I install my email signature on Apple Mail?

Please note that you should avoid using Safari when copying your email signature, in some cases it causes layout errors in your email signature. Please use Google Chrome or Firefox.

  1. Select the email signature using your cursor and copy it to your clipboard.
  2. Open Apple Mail and go to your preferences, then the signature tab.
  3. In the signature tab, create a new signature and paste your email signature from the clipboard. Once pasted, the images will show as empty boxes.
  4. Close this window and your email signature should be working.

If you are using Mac Os Siera be sure to disable the Always Match My Default Font before pasting your signature.

Create a new email and voila! Your new email signature should be there. If you do not see your new email signature, make sure you have it selected in the signature drop down on your new email window.

How do I install my email signature on Gmail?

  1. Select the email signature using your cursor and copy it to your clipboard.
  2. Open your Gmail inbox and go to your preferences, then the signature section, then paste your email signature from the clipboard.
  3. Once done, press the save button at the bottom of the settings window and your email signature should now be showing on your new emails.
  4. Create a new email and voila: your new email signature should be there.

Gmail limits signatures to 10,000 characters.

  1. To add a signature to Thunderbird, use the download signature feature on our site to download the signature to your computer.
  2. In Thunderbird, open the Account Settings and select the email account in the panel on the left.
  3. Checkbox Attach the Signature from a file, click Choose and navigate to the file you downloaded from the website.
  4. Once done, click OK and your signature should be ready to be used.
